It is the meticulous procurement of the best steaks from around the globe and the unique aging process, combined with the eclectic atmosphere and warm hospitality that maintains The Meat Co's loyal following. From Mayura Station Signature Wagyu (+10) to the Prime 1kg Tomahawk steak, meat takes centre stage on the menu. Catch fresh seafood, a raw bar and a selection of speciality dishes with influence from the brands South African heritage.

We visited The Meat Co to try out their new brunch.

We arrived at the Souq Al Bahar and it was stunningly picturesque and filled with pure luxury. It is situated just behind the Dubai Fountains/next to the Dubai Mall and you get stunning views of both of these sightseeing spots as well as the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.

The brunch was around £135 each but included a three course meal with unlimited starters and desserts and one main course each of which you could choose from a menu. You could also have unlimited house wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks which was included in the package. Champagne/sparkling wine is at an additional cost of around £20 on top of the £135. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender and literally fell apart as your knife touched it. We would advise to not have breakfast so you can make the most of the food, and fill your boots when you arrive at brunch.

The entertainment was low-key and had some light modern music playing whilst you enjoyed your food and cocktails. The waiters were energetic and were dancing and singing as they were serving which was fun. The brunch is one of the most sophisticated we have been to in Dubai (albeit quite expensive). There are definitely other brunches out there that are much cheaper and just as good (STK being one of them).

The waiters was very attentive and often filled up our glasses without us even having to ask.

Overall we were extremely satisfied with our visit and would visit again soon if they dropped the price a little.
