The Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel possesses all of the old world charm Chiang Mai is so renowned for. Hosting an element of luxury amongst the beautiful Chiang Mai River, this hotel is a little piece of heaven tucked away from the hustle and bustle of central Chiang Mai.

A home-away-from-home this hotel hosts a fantastic selection of rooms including a living area, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom & balcony. With frequent complimentary transport to and from the city centre there's no reason why staying in the Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel isn't a great idea!

HOTEL

The Chaing Mai Riverside hotel was spotless and full of complete luxury. Located on the serene Ping River and inspired by the ancient Lanna architecture, The Chiang Mai Riverside is an all-suite five-star boutique hotel residence that creates lifetime memories in a pristine surrounding.

It is situated about a 15 minute drive away from central Chiang Mai, however the hotel provide a shuttle service every hour (which is also available on demand) and will take you to/from the city centre.

service

The team at the Chiang Mai Riverside consists of hotel professionals, fresh graduates, and entrepreneurs who are passionate about hospitality and desire to create unique experience for their guests in the luxury boutique hotel environment. A team of polite, friendly and helpful working staff (with good English speaking skills) makes your visit effortless and easy and also make it their mission to go above and beyond and were extremely helpful one evening and took the time to drop us to the 7/11 convenience store to save us the 10 minute walk at 10pm.

fitness & spa

The Fitness Centre at the hotel is well-equipped and offers personal fitness trainers if required. Yoga classes can also be arranged and it is open 24 hours a day which makes it the ideal way to shake off a bit of jet lag or have a good stretch following a hectic day exploring the city or hiking up one of the many scenic mountains nearby.

The pool is situated at the rear of the hotel which backs on to the Ping River painting the perfect picture of relaxation. The pool itself if a good size and there are sun loungers with towels neatly placed on each one awaiting you.

rooms

Upon arrival we checked into a Deluxe King Room with a stunning view of the Ping River and overlooking the swimming pool from our own private balcony. Our room had a good sized bedroom, large lounge/living area (with wide screen TV - inclusive of Apple TV however we had difficulty using this as you had to log-in to your own Apple account and purchase the films etc yourself, but the staff were very helpful and came along to help me with the process), an open plan kitchen and dining area, and a bathroom (with shower, toilet and sink), the shower was a delight and very powerful.

I must also compliment the comfy-ness of the beds. On all occasions we managed to sleep perfectly and didn't hear any noise or disruptions during the night.

Customised menus, private dinners and exceptional gourmet experiences are at the corner stone of The Chiang Mai Riverside.

The hotel also offers various breakfast packages and there is a selection of around 3/4 various breakfast packages to choose from. Chiang Mai Riverside also offer the luxury of delivering breakfast to your room at a requested time (however this has to be booked the evening before and it sometimes arrived cold however it is something that can easily be sorted by re-heating in the microwave if needs be - as you have one in your room, although not ideal). It is then set up beautifully in your room whilst you awake.

The breakfast itself is very tasty and probably better than anything you will find close by. The hotel were also extremely accommodating as we had an early morning flight booked on the day of check-out so would have missed breakfast. The kindly arranged for us to take a paper bag fully equipped with a packed breakfast inside (which included a sandwich, some fruit and other breakfast snacks with a juice) which went down a treat.

The hotel can also offer a private chef cooking in the comfort of your suite, or dine in the tranquil garden setting.

The Vorro Bistro

Unfortunately we didn't get to visit The Vorro Bistro upon our visit however we were assured by other guests that the food was to a high quality.
