ABOUT RAILAY

Railay, also known as Rai Leh, is a large peninsula between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand. It is accessible only by boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access.

WHEN TO VISIT

The best time to visit Railay beach is from November to March when the weather is pleasant. During other months, either it is either extremely hot or rainy. So avoid visiting the beach during those months unless you're a traveller who loves soaking in the sun.

WHAT IS IT FAMOUS FOR?

Railay is most famous for its rock climbing and is a Andaman gym for rock-climbing fanatics. Monkeys frolic alongside climbers on the gorgeous crags, while down below some of the prettiest beaches in all Thailand are backed by proper jungle.
