RAILAY BEACH
WHERE CAN I FIND RAILAY BEACH?
Railay Beach is located on the west side of the island. The long boats and ferries that bring you to the island usually drop you off on the east side. You can then take a stroll through various shops, hotels and reggae bars before you reach the back of the island where Railay Beach awaits.
OUR REVIEW
Quite honestly Railay Beach is our favourite beach in the world! This is a bold statement, we know, but it truly is. We struggle to see that any other beach could beat Railay.
It has a fantastic view of the gorgeous Railay mountains and the sea is crystal clear. Not only that, but upon sunset the sky practically splits into two and the clouds fight the sun for its last remaining seconds as the sky bursts into a red, yellow and orange explosion. You have to see it to truly understand but it is one of the best experiences we have witnessed.
There are lots of small, local restaurants and reggae bars nearby that serve food and drinks for you to take onto the beach and public toilets close by.
TOP TIPS
Railay is famous for it’s magical sunsets so be sure to stay long enough to catch one as they really are something quite special.
