The peak tourist season in Phi Phi is between November and April which is also the ideal time to visit. The weather is comparatively cooler and pleasant with occasional light to heavy showers. Phi Phi experiences its peak summer season between January and April. With the best weather, naturally, this is also the busiest time with most tourists planning their trips around this period. The temperature varies around 23°C and 30°C. While December is the coolest month in the region, February is the driest. This is the perfect time to spend the day relaxing on one of the gorgeous beaches and enjoying water sports in the calm sea. You can then party it out till the wee hours of the morning.

what is it famous for?

Phi Phi is famous for its bays, beaches, caves, coves & rock walls. It is most famous for its location, Maya Bay, on Phi Phi Leh, as the location in the Hollywood movie 'The Beach' however tourists are now unable to visit this location.
