1 pai canyon

Kong Laen is an interesting and beautiful landmark in Pai district. It is also called “Pai Grand Canyon” due to its characteristics which are similar to the Grand Canyon. Kong Laen was created by a natural phenomenon as the earth eroded and parts were destroyed by the rain. Tourists can visit all year round, especially in the winter when there is eerie sea mist and beautiful scenery in the morning.

2 big/white buddha

White Buddha Pai (also known as Wat Phra That Mae Yen) is located in the hills and is situated on top of over 300 steps. This temple has great views of the surrounding landscape and is even visible from Pai town.

3 pai walking street

You will find a huge range of goods for sale at the Pai Walking Street Market including hand crafts, souvenirs, clothing, postcards, jewellery, bags and shoes. There is also a fabulous range of authentic street food for sale which is cooked for you on the spot, as well as juices, bakery items and tasty desserts. The Pai Walking Street Market is surrounded by bars and restaurants, so there are plenty of places to stop to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink. Many of the bars also have live music playing each evening.

4 memorial bridge

Tha Pai Memorial Bridge or Tha Pai World War II Memorial Bridge, this antiquated-looking steel bridge is indeed a compulsory stop for tourists for a selfie or three, and is also an historical venue after all, though it is no longer the original one with a wooden structure that preceded the one you see now.

5 pam bok waterfall

Pam Bok Waterfall Pai is a small swimming hole which is a great place to cool down on a hot day. If you visit in the right season, you’ll be able to swim underneath the light falls and sit by the rocks. You’ll be able to relax all day at this laid back waterfall.
