Sunset Bar is slightly off the beaten track, located down one of the side roads of Pai town. It is popular amongst travellers who are looking to try something a bit different (like a Thai famous mushroom shake or to be served by a transgender woman). The vibe is good, the atmosphere is good and it is away from the hustle & bustle of central Pai.

Sunset bar in Pai is famous for its "Happy Shakes" or "Mushroom Shakes" as they are better known. Although we never actually tried one of these they were easily available behind the bar (as we see many travellers order one of these as we relaxed and watched the sun setting), the atmosphere in this bar was buzzing. Everybody was friendly, laughing, joking and just generally having a good time. There was a great vibe all around. 

They serve a selection of food and drinks and you can chill on a sofa bed whilst watching the sunset over the mountains, it's pretty special. 

There are no specialties to this bar and it's not exactly glitz and glam but the atmosphere around you is worth the visit.
